"Good class hotel, quiet, friendly service"
Very nice thatched roof hotel set in quiet area of Romsey. No noise could be heard from the room at all. Room was above average size with TV (inc satellite), Tea & Coffee making facilities, desk, small wardrobe, 2 chairs and balcony. Soft furnishings in the room e.g. bed covers, curtains and nets were slightly old fashioned but were passable. Ceiling was timber clad giving feel of a log cabin (without the log fire). Bed was comfortable without either being too hard or soft. Pillows were good and felt quite new. Bathroom adequate and reasonably spacious and the towels provided were soft not scratchy. Friendly hotel staff added to the experience at checkin and room service. Hotel bar was quite expensive though.
